ILR BRP validity

Hi,
I got my ILR BRP , but it has validity for 10 yrs ?
Is that usual thing or need to apply again after 10 yrs
I thougt ILR is for life-term...

ILR has no expiry date and before 10 years if you upgrade ILR to British passport then it would also have date of its validity on it. Its just the normal format of BRP.
