Application for Dependant Wife while ILR is under progress

Post by redbull110 » Thu Oct 10, 2013 11:35 am

Dear Moderators & Gurus,

I am the main applicant whose outcome of ILR application submitted at PEO has still not been decided.

My wife got Tier-1 G dependant visa earlier this year which is valid until the end of October this year.

As I am still waiting for the outcome of my ILR application, and my wife's visa is expiring soon, so my question is that which visa application form should I use to submit her application before the validity of her visa ends?

Any comments or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Regards,

Has she completed her qualifying period?

If yes, then why did you not add her to your application?

In my opinion, you should be ready with all her documents along with SET(M) form (If she's completed her qualifying period) or FLR(M) form (If she hasn't completed her qualifying period) and try to tailor this Covering Letter template and a copy of your letter which proves that your application is with the UKBA for consideration until end of October.

If you get your ILR decision then you can book an appointment at a PEO for her or you shall consider posting her application so that she stays legal.

No she has not completed her qualifying period. She got her dependant visa earlier this year, which makes her fall under the category after 9th July 2012.

She will be eligible for ILR after 5 years.

So thats why I am asking while my ILR is still under progress, which application form should I fill for her and post it to Home Office.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Vinny.

W.r.t the Maintenance can I attach my bank statements for my wife as I never opened any bank account for her.

2nd option which I can think of is adding her name to my account and then get the bank statements.

Let me know which option best suites.

Thanks.

She do not have any bank account so far.

Let me know if this is acceptable.
I am making her apply on Tier1 PBS form, and my ILR application is still outstanding with HO.

That's fine as per the Guide (click) at page 46.
