Hi did you applied for your naturalization ? If yes how long ago ?
If you think you are not going to be together, do inform DOJ but as you are PR card, this is not going to effect your residence rights.

However, i am on the same boat, PR card holder, and you can read my story here:

I did apply for naturalization 1 year ago. It's sad to hear ur story. all the best brother. So the separtion will not affect my PR that's good but i heard that in order to renew your passport you need to go with your wife to the GNIB. My passport will expire soon. is it true?

PLease, Advice?

Many thanks

My story could be different than urs one. I was divorced before i applied for the PR and DOJ was well informed of that. They send me the approval letter and didn't stated any thing that i should bring my wife with me for re-newal of visa.

Does your letter states that u have to bring ur wife with u ?

In relation to ur naturalization application, did they asked u for any further docs ? and do u know what is the status of ur application i.e. at what stage ur application is ?

Mine is more than a year and haven't heard any thing yet, any time i call, they say, it is in progress.

Yes, They told me to bring my wife with me to collect the PR and when to renew my passport. any suggestions about this ?

For the naturalization I'm like you , it is in progress.

You have two options:

1: Inform DOJ that u are separated, as u r PR holder and it wouldn't effect ur status...

2: Keep quiet and wait for ur naturalization to be approved....
