ILR Approved at Glasgow PEO (October 7th 2013)

Post by humanorgan » Fri Oct 11, 2013 3:30 pm

Phew, just got my ILR approved, so massive relief I don't have to worry about it anymore! I applied using the Set (M) form as an unmarried partner of a person settled and present in the UK. As I applied before the new rule change, I was only required to show evidence of our relationship over the last 2 years. Here are the documents I brought with me:

- Application form and passport photos
- Life in the UK Test Certificate
- Current bank statements from both me and my partner (6 months)
- Payslips (partner) (12 months)
- Letter of employment from employers (partner and me)
- Invoices to clients (I work freelance, so I use these instead of my payslips) (12 months)
- Previous passports that I entered the country with
- Previous passports (partner)
- Old BRP (bio resident permit)
- Letters addressed to me and my partner, both in the same letter and individually (taken at intervals between the last 2 years), eg Tenancy Agreements, phone & utility bills, HMRC letters, etc

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you to everyone on this board that helped me with my questions on filling up the form! :)
