English Language requirement.

Hi All
Anyone please can help me regarding new English language requirement after 28th October,I am tier 1 general migrant and my ILR is due in December 2013,I did my pharmacy degree from Pakistan which is equivalent to uk bachelor,I did comparability from NARIC in 2008,I also have a letter from university which shows that medium of instruction was in English for the course.
Also I want to apply for my wife, she came to uk in March 2013 as tier 1 general dependent ,I know she is not eligible for ILR as she has not completed 2 years in UK,is there will be English requirement for her,she has no proof to show English language ability.
