Tier 2 (ICT) to dependent

Hi,

I am on TIER 2 ICT from Nov 2009 and would complete 5 years in Nov 2014. however I am not sure if my company would extend my stay as they want me to return back to India.

My wife is currently on dependent but her company is ok to offer her a work visa here, so is it ok if I move from my current category to a dependent visa? and if yes, will I be still eligible for my ILR in Nov' 2014.
