Post by tricia2020 » Sun Oct 13, 2013 6:47 pm

I have Life in uk test cert and a Hnd from abroad which was taught in english. under the new rule coming in place on 28 october,
is HND equivalent to a uk degree?
and is it possible to get a NARIC statement of comparability for HND?
and will it meet the purpose of esol course in english with citizenship which starts on 28 october 2013

See also the further guidance (click). Unfortunately, a HND is not a qualifying degree. You would need to meet a B1 English requirement see the approved list (click).
