Hello guys,

I am going to apply t1 enterpreneur under 200k route. My maternal uncle is sponsoring me. He is in the UK. What do you guys say? Is it ok if I show my uncle's bank statement from UK or is it better to have funds based in Pakistan?

Your determining factor should be where the funds are and where you can easily get the all the required UKBA document. ie. bank letter stating that you have access to the funds.

Good luck.

The bank letter has to state my name if it's third party?

Yes, the third party bank letter has to state your name in the letter. You will also need a third party declaration and a solicitor`s declaration\ letter to testify to yr signature and document. Pls read the policy guidance for more information.

You best option is if all d funds can be in your personal account if you are using all the funds alone and not as a team. If you are sure that you will get all the required document from abroad, you can use that option but make sure that you and your third party sponsor sign the declaration together in front of a solicitor. If this is not possible, when the documents gets to UK, get another solicitor and sign your name in the provided space in front of the UK solicitor and let him/her testify to yr signature by dewritten a declaration/ letter.

Good luck.

I am based in Pakistan. The declaration has to be on stamp paper? And how am I supposed to sign the declaration in the presence of a solicitor? Does the solicitor has to be in UK or Pakistan? Don't understand this point. Can I sign the declaration being couriered to me by my sponsor?

Sorry, just made the statement clear.

Yes, you have to sign the declaration sent to you by your sponsor in front of another solicitor in Pakistan and collect another solicitor' s declaration attesting to yr signature from him/her.

Good luck.
