ILR application Successful in 55 minutes (rather 30 mins)

Post by nemo999 » Mon Oct 14, 2013 11:39 am

Hi All,

First of all thanks to this forum for providing valuable advice.

I wasn’t an active member but I learnt a lot by just browsing through this forum.

I recently applied for ILR at Croydon PEO (without solicitor off course) and got it approved.

To My surprise, the speed of processing was lightning fast!!

I entered the building at 9.10 AM and I was out with ILR at 10.05 AM (Total time required just 55 mins!)

Most of the time was spent in security check and I think the actual processing time (i.e. the moment my application form was accepted and confirmation letter handed to me was about 30 mins)

I carried a bag full of supporting document with me but initially only gave them payslip, bank statement, LIUK pass certificate and employers letter (proof of employment) i.e. the bare minimum docs they had asked for.

My Application was straightforward

Total absences from UK were less than 180s on 5 occasions in last 5 years.

Points claimed

20 points for Age (under 28 when applied initially for T1 (G))
35 points (Masters degree)
40 points earnings in last 12 months with single employer (40K+) (before 06th Apr 2010 threshold)
5 points UK experience
100 (Total )

Thanks to all the wonderful and helpful people on this forum.

PS: I will keep looking this forum for Naturalization process.
