Is no point to pass Life in Uk now?

Hi to all
If I should apply 6 month later for naturalisation, is there any plus to make
LIU now? Instead of exam pass? If its good to pass now,am I might still need to pass listening and speaking when I'm eligible?
And
All NCS are full, my husband need to pass exam and straight send via special delivery, he need his passport actually (he has very sick mum will go urgently) what shall we do ? Any option?
