FOREIGN MOTHER TO A BRITISH CHILD

Im in the uk at the moment with my British born husband. Im on a family visitor visa at the moment for 6 months. me and my husband have a son together who was born abroad but has a british passport. He has no nationality from the country he was born in because my husband said he wants him to have only british identity. Last night he told me he wants me to leave the uk after 6 months and leave my son in the uk with him. I have a feeling he will not let me return to the uk to see him agian. I told him i cannot do this and he cannot separate me and our 3 year old. Please can someone help in what my options are.
