Contract with freelancer

Post by ceobot » Tue Oct 15, 2013 3:46 pm

Hi Guys,

I am Business Development Manager at my Interior Design Studio.
For my Tier 1 £50K Visa I will show 1 or 2 contracts with customers, invoices and bank statement showing payments from them.

However, personally I don't provide these services, so the question which may arise is who provided these services to the customers if I don't have any employees and another occupation (SOC) at my company.

I don't want to risk and employ somebody before I get my Visa. What do you think the best way to solve this problem ?

P.S. I thought about contract with freelancer, but if this freelancer is my friend and he employed by another company, will they check this information?

Dear sir,
employing anyone before you is for your studio or company is secondary thing to think about,

pay attention here what services you yourself provide to your company is not countable but the services that your company or studio provides to clients is what considered to be your SOC, the title you wrote(Business promotional or delop. manager) comes under administrating a business when you own a business but services this company or studio (I do not the legal status of your business) provides to its clients is your SOC, find out if such a thing(painting or photography your actual business) as you plan to do for your company falls in at level 4 or above.

thanks

Thanks,
SOC 3422:Product, clothing and related designers (Creative)
is NQF Level 4, so I pretty much sure with core business my company will provide.

that is good then

now all you do is to make an organisational chart where you mention the positions that your company has, for employees and put your name opposite boxes so that they could know what positions you are working at. your SOC is the core services that your company(having yourself upfront) provides to clients, and that is it

thanks...

I think you didn't understand me. I am not providing the same services to my company which it's provide to my customers. My company provides design consultancy and I simply administrating my company. I don't have any skills in design. I need employees to be able to provide my customers with core services. That is the problem that I don't have them now.
