Timeline for Naturalisation application under discretion

Can someone tell me please about the time line (how many days/months) for naturalisation application under discretion.

Can anybody share their experience on the timeline of application under discretion.

First, all naturalisation applications are at discretion (i.e. it's not a guranteed approval). However if you meet the requirements your application would likely to be approved.

I don't think there is much difference if additional discretion is required. It only takes the caseworker a few more minutes to make a decision. Even if a senior caseworker needs to be consulted I don't think it would delay the process by more than a few days.

I've applied on the basis of 7.4(d). Hope I hear something in 2 months time if not earlier. :)
