ilr continuous period - DId i break continuity or not?

Post by ihtisham20 » Fri Oct 18, 2013 7:30 pm

I want to validate my continuity of UK Stay, looking to apply for ILR.

Below is the visa date when i was outside UK and got my visa renewed from India.

1. Visa 21/02/2010 -> 21/03/2012 ( Entry Cleanness from India , entry UK on 26 Sep 2010)
2. Visa 16/04/2012 -> 29/04/2014 ( Entry Clearness from India , entered in UK on 01-May-2012)

Holidays: 13 November 2011 till 31st April 2012 i was outside UK.

Question: Does entry clearness means reset in ILR continuous period.?

Question: Does leave during the entry clearness period in India effects anyway?

--- I found below can you please advice what this means -------------

The continuous period is maintained if the:
applicant leaves the UK without valid leave, but re-enters with new entry clearance·
within 28 days of their leave expiry date, or
applicant leaves the UK with valid leave and re-enters the UK whilst that leave·
remains valid, provided the absence(s) do not exceed 180 days in a relevant 12
month period.

If the applicant’s leave expires whilst they are outside the UK and they apply for new entry
clearance more than 28 days after their previous leave expires, then the continuous period
is broken and leave is not aggregated.
