6 months, Family visitor visa - £3000 bond rule

Post by abz » Sat Oct 19, 2013 11:49 am

Hi All,

I am planing to apply for 6 months family visitor visa for my parents, what i have read that government is starting a £3,000 refundable bond scheme in November.

Now there are a few things which are not so clear, when this bond scheme is actually starting , is it November 2013 or November 2014 ?

And what if i lodge my parents application on 28 oct 2013 (which is the actual plan), would they still have to pay £3000 each ?

Could anyone help please ?

Best Regards

I don't think the UKBA have released any concrete plans yet.
