T2 ICT long term leave to remain | Query

Hi,

I'm working for a US based IT company which has its base in India as well. I'm employee of it's Indian branch.
I have had work-permit visa (with multiple entries) till 13/08/13. Now, It is extended to 'T2 ICT long term leave to remain' till 02/08/2016. I'm here in UK since March'2011 on the client-side.
then would I be able to switch my employer on the current Visa?

I would like to know that if I get a certificate of sponsorship from some another IT company in UK then Am I eligible to swap/switch my current visa to Tier 2 General? or do I need to go back to Home Country and apply Tier 2 General?

if you applied for your initial T2 ICT visa before 6 April 2011 then the visa you got was as Established Staff (check stamp in passport) and you are eligible to switch to T2G in-country provided you change sponsor
