I applied November 2012 and I am still waiting... I did receive a refusal in march, appeal in august (which I won). But I am still waiting for my documents / BRP

Hang in there if this is something you really want. There were times when I wanted to give up, but I tried to remain positive. They make it very hard though... and this is just the FIRST STEP!!!

If you still insist on withdrawing your application, you can send a formal request and they will respond within 28 working days ... so more waiting!

Good luck either way and keep us posted

Yes, it is really annoying and they want you to give up even if you have a good case. Will you give up?

Give it up when you have tried all your best. Wait for the outcome first.

Best of luck in whatever decision you make now or in future.
