Changing work and dependent visa

I have been promoted slightly and according to amazing rules of UKBA, I need to apply for a new visa now. My question is does my wife need to apply for a new dependent visa as well? The duration of the contract is the same, and we have just got our visa for extension of my current position (yes, this is crazy I should have been promoted a month ago to avoid the whole application again). If she applies for visa she would get the same visa for the same duration practically but I am not sure what is the rules of UKBA.

Yes your wife will also need to apply with you again.Normally she will also get it for the same period
