ILR SET (M) Further Checks at Croydon PEO

Hi Myself and my wife went to Croydon Home office on 17th october for ILR,

we were asked after Biomatric to go and come back after 2 hours, we received call after 1 1/2 hours to come back, we went back and handed a letter by a lady and said now you can go.

on the letter it said, your application is valid, we are not refusing your application but the case worker has to do further enquiries on your case. They did not ask for any documents.

It says on the letter there is no time frame.
Can anyone tell me whats going or anyone else in same situation. My Husband came from Pakistan on spouse visa and at the time they gave him visa on appeal becasue of some silly reasons.
