Working in canada, do I need a work permit?

Post by ehof » Mon Oct 21, 2013 8:40 pm

Hi,

I'm a permanent resident in the UK with a Slovak passport. My client (based in Sweden) has asked me to go to Canada to work over there for a week.

There will not be any money exchanged in Canada as my client is based in Sweden and pays me directly to a UK bank account.

Will I need to arrange a work permit in this situation?

Thanks
