a hypothetical question

A person is on Tier 2 General visa, which has been issued for 3 years plus 3 years. Let’s assume she applies for ILR right after 5 years of continuous stay (i.e. having 1 year extra on her Tier-2 visa). What would happen if her ILR application is dismissed: 1) She will be able to continue her work for the remaining time of her current Tier 2 visa (provided her conditions of employment allow it to do) or 2) Her right to work in the UK lapses straight after dismissal?
