HELP With Form AN Applying tomorrow !!

Post by iceicebaby » Wed Oct 23, 2013 1:35 am

Hi All i am Applying for citizenship tomorrow, i know its late but i hope someone is still up
i have been getting this all sorted for my wife i think we completed everything so far but have the following questions

1. my wife's current surname is "kaur" on her passport and documents
but we want our family name on the certificate and eventually on her uk passport

2. my wife has been in the uk for 4 years and 6 months, so we are applying on the basis of marriage. on the form in 1.17 they are asking for addresses for the past 5 years, as my wife has only been hear 4 year and 6 month should we include address outside of the uk ?

3. My wife is currently unemployed she is a full time housewife looking after our 2 two kids. what should we put as her occupation ?

thank you

1. Just put the new name in Q1.5 and her maiden in Q1.8. Provide a marriage certificate to link between the two.
2. 5 years. Overseas address is fine.
3. Housewife / home maker.

You are right. Put maiden name in 1.7. Leave 1.8 empty.

Hi Jambo

Are Overseas addresses accepted provided standard requirements for naturalisation are met?
