Dependent VISA to Tier 2 VISA

Hi,

My husband is recently (2 months ago) transferred to UK by his employer on Tier 2 VISA for 1 year.

I have obtained dependent VISA recently.
I am in India only and not been to UK before.

Now, my employer is ready to transfer me to UK for 1 year from Nov-2013 to Nov-2014 on Tier 2 VISA.

Questions:
1) Is there any cooling off period applicable in this case?
2) Can I apply for Tier 2 VISA now ?
3) Will Tier 2 VISA be granted for 1 year i.e. till Nov-2014?
4) Will my dependent VISA be cancelled in this case?

3) Will Tier 2 VISA be granted for 1 year i.e. till Nov-2014? it will be granted until the work end date stated in the CoS or 3 years whichever is earlier
4) Will my dependent VISA be cancelled in this case? yes, once you get your T2 visa

Hi

Had a small query:

I have a Tier 2 ICT visa valid till Jan 2014. My wife is on a dependent visa, also valid till Jan 2014, and currently working here in UK.

If I leave UK in Nov, can my wife continue working on her dependent visa till Jan 2014 and then return to India? Or does she have to return whenever I return (i.e. Nov)
