say if one were to get a schengen visa today and want to travel to europe next year march , would the visa be in date?

all schengen visa is issued with expiry date. Duration of visa is Depend on your nationality and place of applying. Like I applied schengen visa at norwegian embassy in UK. They gave me the single entry visa for the dates I mentioned in my application. And same thing I applied from saudi, they gave 6 months multiple visa. So its depend on the location where u r applying and the nationality..
