price for Naturalisation.

Can anyone confirm how much to pay for naturalisation i.e. Form AN. Is it £874 alone; or do you have to add an extra £80 for the ceremony fee? Thank you.

I think in a free market economy, it is unfiar that UKBA has complete monopoly over immigration and nationality market.

Government should bring in competition into the market. There should be a few private companies who could grant applications. Application fees should be based on how complex the application is. People should be able to compare prices on comparison websites like comparethemeerakat.com

I am sure once there is some competition in the market, there will be companies who would offer insurance against refusal or guaranteed approval.
