Residence permit need help please!

Hello I am non eu citizen, my husband is Romanian, we are in Dublin now my husband found a job,.. Do i need to register at the GNIB? Is it a certain amount of money (salary)that my husband has to earn in order to apply for my residence here? Do i need to pay a solicitor to do the application for us?Please we need some guidance, he is been paid the minimum wage dont know if it will be enough!!! Thank you!

Hi, it doesn't really matter if he is on the minimum wage. also you don't need a solicitor and you can send your application yourself.

You need to fill the form called "EU1". and here is the link to this form that you need to fill-out : http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Form%20E ... %20EU1.pdf

At the end of this form you will see a list of supporting documents that you need to provide along with your application.

Can i ask what is ur nationality and how you entered Ireland, i mean did u got entry clearance visa from another country ?

Please provide maximum possible information so the rest of the members can help you.

You should have no problem, as he is only required to work, there is no particular amount that he must earn.

If you have children he can apply for child benefit and family income supplement.
