Please I need information on third party funding

Post by Sonye » Thu Oct 24, 2013 5:34 pm

Hello all,
My former business partner has decided I use money in her account to apply for the visa as a third party sponsor. Does the money have to be in a business account? As she doesn't have an existing business, can she have the money in her savings account?
I will really appreciate a quick response as I am running out of time. And please if there is any other information you think is required, Could you please tell me?

Thanks

Wait for the experts, but Savings account is much better than business account.

The best option is to have all the money in yr account. If not, you can use a third party account provided that you submit bank letter including UKBA required wording, party declaration, solicitors attestification to signature.

Go for Saving a/c or money under the applicant name, don't use 3rd party, if you use 3rd party BANK will not issue a letter wording as per UKBA req.

At this point, it has been impossible for me to convince her to put the money in my account. The 3rd party sponsorship is the only thing she is willing to do. If I can get a letter from the solicitor, will that be ok rather than the bank letter? Or if the money is in a joint account with my name on the account, will I still need a letter from the bank?
