Receive letter after winning appeal

Post by Splash » Fri Oct 25, 2013 5:14 pm

After winning appeal from First Tier court, i am doing full job on the basis of previous visa ie PSW. Today i receive letter in the name of my dependent from UKBA in which they need her bank detail. My question to this forum is that when should i give notice to leave job to my employer in order to aviod any problem in extension time . I have following points

1= When i [ principal applicant ] receive visa approval letter.
2= When i receive appeal money in my bank account.
3= When i receive my biometric card.
4= Today because UKBA asking dependent bank detail

@Spalsh

Did you submit any bank statement of your dependent on the time of application?
Did you paid appeal fee from your dependent's account?
When did you get your appeal allowance letter?
What they have requested in the letter?

Asking for bank details like Sort code and Account Number AND Asking for Bank Statement might have two different things. Possibly they want to return your dependent's appeal fee in her account. But the fee is returned by Tribunal so whats the point?

@ Splash, you can continue working with your employer until you receive your BRP as that's the only time you are sure your visa has been issued.

Once you receive your BRP card, then you can stop work within the same month as payment is usually done monthly in most jobs and HMRC will only get your tax and NI deductions monthly.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.
