soc code and Job Title difference ( Urgent )

Post by shahbazali » Fri Oct 25, 2013 7:21 pm

we put SOC code 2135 ( IT business analysts, architects and systems designers)
these are the services our company providing.
since our role in business is as Director so we wrote Job Title as Director.

we got refusal saying "you are unable to provide soc code and job title"
our solicitor did appeal and answered whether caseworker is blind because code and job title is there.
home office withdraw their objections just 2 days before hearing date.
now we are waiting what will happen next.

I wanna confirm whether our code and job Title are ok? as our lawyer has concern on it.
if wrong should we send new amended job title to home office before they make any decission
or just wait
thanks

In fact you have mentioned in your application that you are under SOC 2135-Director. It means you expressed yourself absolutely wrong and there is nothing like this in Appendix J OR any other guidelines.

SOC 2135 - Director
1) Neither 2135 means Director anywhere.
2) Nor Director is any Job Title associated with SOC 2135 anywhere.

In result, your application is refused as they didnt find anything valid according to policy and consequently they refused as you have not mentioned SOC and Job Title.

Now what your solicitor is trying to implement is (I guess):
1) You have mentioned Job Title and SOC in appropriate section and case worker did not see it.

But actually you need to justify:
1) You are actually working under SOC 2135 as Director of your company.
2) Job Title was written mistakenly or wrongly in Job Title section.

On the basis of your witness statement and related appeal stuff; HO withdrawn appeal. Whatever you prepared for appeal is now with your application within HO. Its up to them now.

Sending them anything new at this point is something absolutely out of the way. How they treat any new stuff at this point? God knows.
