Over Speeding Fine ??

Over Speeding Fine ??

Hi All...
Please someone can tell me how can I get receipts of paid 2 over speeding fines, as citizenship department ask me for them. I paid 2 over spedding fines & 1 parking fine but never kept the receipts. Now they ask me for the receipts & I dont have any. Please someone can guide me on this, how to get any records of paid traffic offence. Thanks in Advance

Hi respectforall,

How did citizenship department came to know about ur speeding and parking tickets ? Did you mentioned that in the application form ?

No... I didnt mention in application. Its already 15 months I have applied for citizenship. I had only 1 over speeding fine before I applied for citizenship & one over speeding fine I had this year in Feb & i park my car in front of my house at 18:42 in April & there is no parking allowed between from 16:00 to 19:00 there. I got 45 euro find letter from Garda stating that I parked my car at 18:42 even though there is no parking allowed. But I think DOJ find out when they check my criminal record with Garda. Now they send me letter and aked me to send those find paid receipt.

Email Circuit npo@garda.ie them and explain them and dont forget to include full name and address and dates of fines they will issue you the copy of receipts or go to nearest garda station. if fine was paid in court then you have to go to any Circuit Court and they will issue you the copy of receipts .

I havent mentioned the speeding tickets on my application as I never thought much of them, seeing I have paid. Now my question is: will they think I am trying to pull a fast one and lie, and I know well that they can check or will they not think much of it seeing its not a criminal offence and just as for receipt?

Once again total confusion on this when it comes to Section 11 of the application form.
