Past Earnings Documents

Post by gsurendra » Thu Apr 12, 2007 10:54 pm

I plan to submit Past Earning proofs from Apr-06 to Mar-07. During this period I worked with 2 employers in different countries. Below is the list of documents I will submit. Members, please give your feedback whether I am missing anything

1) Online Payslips (from first employer) from Apr-06 to Nov-06 - Signed and stamped

2) Letter from first employer addressed as "To whomsoever it may concern" mentioning the gross salary during the above period (no detailed breakup of salary given)

3) Letter from first employer explaining the reason for late remittance of last salary due to Settlement on leaving company

4) Ledger printout of Bank Statement against first employment, signed and stamped by the banker

5) Original Payslips + Original Bank Statement (Dec-06 to Mar-07) from new employer without any stamp or signature nor any letter from employer to show gross earnings

6) Enclosing letter from myself giving name, designation, contact numbers of the signatories of above documents

Doesnt this mean that you only claim income from One of the two countries and Pro-Rata this. I am sure the guidance note states this if people have worked in multiple countries for their 12 month span

Yes, I am planning to do that. However, I think I still need to give income proof from the other country which will not be prorated. (in my case from Dec-06 to Mar-07)

Am I right or there is some other rule regarding the documentation?

Do we have to submit tax returns in this case of 12 months(apr 06 to mar 07) in consideration. But how can one get tax papers for that period whihc has jus ended. I am sure there must be a way, people plz pour in your ideas.

Also, if you have worked in 2 countries and submitting ur earnings proofs(salary slips etc) on pro-rata basis. do we need to submit salary slips of the other country as well ?
