I have received the passports, BRP comes as Signed For or Normal Post please?

i am surprised no one responded to you so far

BRP does come signed for, they use not royal mail but special service called DX Secure

you also need ID to receive it, but usually you can give your ID to another adult to receive it on your behalf.

this can be innocuous ID, for instance a bank card
