maintenance for tier 2 general partner

My employer will provide the letter for maintenance for my wife and my child.
My wife is going to apply for her visa in India, please let me now whether the letter is needed in original or scanned is okay.


Please let me know urgently.

the rules say originals are needed, whether the ECO would accept a scanned copy in this case I don't know but rather than risk an invalid application it is safer to submit the original

number of dependents is 0

I have received tier 2 general visa recently. In the visa it is mentioned that number of dependents is 0.


Could you please let me know what does it mean what impact it has on my family's tier 2 general partner and child visa. ?
