Italian-Mexican

Hi all,

A friend/colleague of mine suggested me this forum to receive advices and help.
I am Italian, male 35, resident in London since 2010 (in a flat of my property), and
I am full time employed as scientist in one of the biggest University in England. My girlfriend is Mexican, 25, and at the moment she is Mexico.
My friend suggested me that it is possible to prove a relationship to get a "family permit" through my EU rights. He (polish) managed to do this to allow his partner (US) to live together in London.

My partner already spent time with me in London
(28 April 2011 - 01 June 2011; 1 month & half
13 March 2012 - 06 June 2012; 4 months
30 December 2012 - 9 July 2013), 6 months

Always with a tourist VISA, limiting the possibility to work, have a bank account, and pay bills. We have many friends in common, with hundreds of pictures to prove it. Her bank statement (from a bank in Mexico) can also be a prove she'd been here, as well as taking part to a School in London (from which she received a mail to my address). I went to Mexico for a couple of weeks in the 2011, and meet her family. My family knows her as well.

My friend was suggesting me a notary through the Italian embassy here in London and there in Mexico.

After going through different posts we saw cases with Family Permit, Civil Partnership & the right to remain with the EEA1 & 2, Durable Partners; we would like to use the best of this options.
We had been together for two years and the advice of my colleague made us have hope, he wasn't able to give me so much information about their process but he gave me this forum and I am attending to the next saturday meeting to receive advice from a solicitor but it will be until november and i would like to start the process as soon as possible or to have an idea of what to do.

Do you have any advices?

Thanks

Amber
