Home Office have refused MY application based on 7years rules,
Applied 2nd Oct 2012 ,refused 23rd Oct 2013, My solicitor informed me today though He received decision letter on 28th octomber.

You applied under exception 1 I take it?

So is your solicitor considering an appeal/judicial review? Do not be too disheartened the UKVI refuse a considerable amount of family life cases at the first instance.

I will meet my solicitor on Friday, He was suggesting JR and i need to go and join queue in the court that no single have been granted under this rules.

Actually 7 year rule is strictly speaking under Private Life 276ADE and I am certain a lot of parents have been granted leave on the basis of this. You have to provide us with abit more info on the application you made and your circumstances

You will find 276ADE(iv) relates to a child under 18. Exception 1 is for the parent of such a child.
