On T1 General- Change job 4 months before IRL

Hi guys

I am about to start a new job, 4 months before applying for my IRL next year.
Just want to double check if there is anything I should be aware of such as documentation preparation. Will this have negative effect on my application?

You didn't say which visa category you have right now. If it's Tier 1 general, you should only make sure that you will have earned sufficient salary to qualify on your points.
