Entry Stamps

Post by UberKrieger » Sat Apr 14, 2007 2:37 am

Hello,

I would like to know about the 6 Months (Entry Warning Stamps) that are stamped when someone enters the United Kingdom.

My fiancee would like to enter to UK for the 3rd time she has already received 2 stamps stating she can only spend 6 Months. She entered the country without a return ticket on both occasions and bought the ticket to return from within the UK. The last time she entered she was almost denied because she did not have a return ticket and enough funds to buy one, she was told that she cannot re-enter and receive another stamp like that.

Can she enter the country with sufficient funds and a return ticket for the 3rd time?

Under what circumstances are these stamps given?

How many of these stamps is one person allow to receive before they are denied entry into the United Kingdom?

If she wants to aquire a Visa to voluntary work in the UK and is in the process of arranging an interview with an appropriate organization. Will an immigration officer allow her in the UK if she has e-mails stating that an interview as been arranged, sufficient funds and a return ticket? (Although she has 2 warning stamps)

I really appreciate anyone that can clarify this for me, thank you

I believe even if you want to work voluntary you will need a work permit or another appropriate visa such as a spouse visa.
