Got a call from my lawyer. No right of appeal with the usual gibberish. ... I have spent my formative years in my home country, did not have leave to remain when I applied, in a relationship with the father of my child. ...etc

I am sorry to hear this, I can understand how stressful and detrimental such a result can be. I really hope you get it all sirted under Family life.
