New Indian Passport for Children born in UK

Hello,

I have applied the new passport for my child in HCI London , it's almost 3 weeks from now haven't received the passport by post.

When i sent an email for the application status , they mentioned that it would take 5 weeks time due to technical reasons.

During my application made at counter they mentioned that it would take only 6 - 9 working days. Based on that we have planned for India trip next weekend, not sure when we would get the passport.

Do anyone experienced this delay ? It was not even updated in the HCI london website.

Pretty much same story here, I have been waiting for over 7 weeks now.

Well if he lives in Uk for a certain amount of times and apply for a British citizenship and if u also have a British passport
