ILR and benefits

hi i am asking on behalf of my friend basically she is applying for ilr next february and she want to know when she will apply and get ilr can she claim for benefits after that like job seeker allowance also would that affect her application for nationality after 1 year?

Once settled the person is no longer subject to immigration control and can claim any benefit they're entitled to.
