can you please help me on below as I need to apply for British citizenship. but as per new law now ESOL is required.

can you please let me confirm if i need to pass ESOL.

You need too pass life in the UK test plus you also need to pass B1 cefr level Englishspeaking and listening test. Browse this forum to find all the details. This question is asked on a daily basis.
