Important - please if any one can reply?

Post by Sapphire » Sat Nov 02, 2013 8:24 pm

Hi I last week submitted my application for neturalisation but from the timelime provided on this website - it looks like its taking good 5 to 6 months in processing...I have my passports with them which I may need to travel back to my home country in March' 2014.

Is there a way I can withdraw my application and resubmit it using NCS service?

Will appreciate any help on this

Thanks

Not sure which timeline you looked at. On average application takes 2-3 months. Might be slightly longer for October applicants as many applied before the rules change.

You can ask for your passport back in about 3 months and it will not affect your application. Withdrawing an application would mean loss of fees.

It would have been a good idea if you looked at the timeline before you submitted your application.

you do not get expedited service if applied via NCS. NCS is not like PEO where same day decisions are possible. NCS are simply document copiers and forwarders, and NCS and non NCS go to the same queue.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

Applied using NCS will give me an opportunity to keep my documents with me at lease

Thanks for response - I will probably wait, nothing much I can do now!!!
