benefits question

hey
i recently got married back home and my wife got her document back it says on it no recourse to public funds , she will join me in UK really soon, because i am the only one who would be working and she will be jobless , would i get help from the council !! i get around 1200 monthly i live in shared house and i am thinking to rent 1 bed flat after my wife comes

never claimed any sort of benefit or i have been jobless, we both Algerian i hold PR for now and i am waiting for my citizenship to be approved

Those who are Algerian Nationals and subject to immigration control (your spouse will be) can claim:
page 19 wrote: Attendance allowance
 Carer’s allowance
 Child benefit
 Child tax credit
 Disability living allowance
 Personal independence payment
However, for other benefits, such as housing benefit, she will not be entitled to any additional amount of public funds. So although you could (and would need to) make a joint claim it will only award an amount for you as you are not subject to immigration control.
