Question on Standard Occupational Classification (SOC)

Post by edmondlim » Sun Nov 03, 2013 8:10 pm

hi

i had a question regarding to job title change on SOC, i was granted an old work permit on 2009 and get ready to apply ILR on January next year. since the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) stated minimum appropriate rates or thresholds on experienced work permit holder.

would it cause any issue if the job title on SOC section different on original job title on work permit letter?

does employer have to stick to original title on work permit and pay rise same as mentioned on Standard Occupational Classification (SOC)? or remain same amount salary as granted on 5 years ago?

is it gross salary on Standard Occupational Classification (SOC)?

thanks you very much indeed
:D
