Question about Naturalization Period

Post by vision » Sun Nov 03, 2013 8:32 pm

I applied for ILR on 28th Feb 2013 but granted ILR on 25th of Oct 2013 .My question is that.

My 12 months period for British passport eligibility (naturalization) will start from 28 Feb 2013 or 25th of Oct 2013.

The latter date. However, if your ILR application was considered protracted and the delay was no fault of your own, your may be eligible to apply from May 2014.

Naturalization Time Frame

Post by vision » Tue Nov 05, 2013 3:10 am

Really I am confused about your answer how can I apply Naturalization May 2014 because I do not know how you are counting my time period for Naturalization. As I have already explained that I applied ILR in February 2013 but granted ILR October.

But you are saying that I am illegible May 2014. If is there any Law please can you give me a link of that Law so that I read it. Thanks.

Assuming you're not the spouse/civil partner of a British Citizen, see Chapter 18 Annex B paragraph 7.5(g) of the BNA 1981
