Extension for tier 4 while waiting for tier 1 decesion

i want to confirm, can i apply for my extension for tier 4 i am waiting for the decision since October 2012 of tier 1, my current visa is going to expire in Feb, so can i submit my extension without withdraw my current application?

no u cant. u must withdraw your application first

how will u apply for extension as ur passport held by HO?

u can withdraw ur T1 application and then apply for an extension.

u cant submit ur T4 extension whilst T1 application pending.
