Spouse Visa - Employee Letter Question.

Post by Ebrar » Mon Nov 04, 2013 5:48 pm

Hello All,

Me and my wife will be applying for spouse visa after two days, under category A , she works and earns more than £18,600 per annum.

We will be getting 6 months payslips and 6 months original bank statement showing all the salary. We will also take the letter from HM Revenue & Customs with my wife name, company name on it and tax code number, and all the other documents we can ( marriage certificate , my bank statement , id , passports , etc). We have all the documents , even last three years old bills and contact papers.

But will it be a problem if we can't take an employee letter with us to home office face to face meeting ?

We forgot to ask them about it , we didn't know if Home office will need the employment letter , we thought HM Revenue letter , Payslips and bank statement with 6 months salary showing [Money from business account & stating Salary] was more than enough.

Let's hope if they can give us the employment letter fingers crossed. Not every company is helpful..........

Ok, then you should supply all the required specified evidence as outlined in Annex FM 1.7.
