Spouse's Eligibility to Apply for ILR when kids are British

Post by aam631 » Tue Nov 05, 2013 12:23 pm

Hello everyone,

Is there anyone who can help me with my question PLEASE!! I have recently got my ILR (based on 10 years long stay). My kids were born here. One of them will be 8 in Dec. 2013 and other is 4 years old. My wife got two years visa as a spouse.

My wife came to the UK in March 2005 as a student dependent. Her status was changed as PSW dependent in May 2010. Now her status is recently changed to Spouse Visa in May 2013 through FLR(m)...

I got my kids registration as British Citizens. Just want to know, please, if my wife being mother of British kids (aged 8 and 4) can apply for ILR instead of applying in two years time. Also she will be eligible to apply for ILR in long stay category but again would be around in two years time....

I 'll really appreciate if someone could help me with this please...

Thanks- - -
