Refugee state wanna go back to home country

I have been obtained refugee state 2 years ago, then I applied for convention travel document. After changing in my circumstances in my home country I want to go back to my country.my question is:

1- if I tell the home office that, how long it will take to return back my national passport to me ?
2- do you think that would affect nagatively in future if I want to apply for visit visa ( that my main concern) ?
