After going through various postings on the subject above I need clarification regarding the following documents

Is this a requirement to send Passport of UK born children? If they have
Both parents’ passport and bio metric are required or single parent passport and bio metric can also be sent. Should these be a photocopies or original?

It is better to send child's passport (if has one) and a parent (one is enough) passport and BRP. However, if you send copies, the application is likely to be accepted. You do need to send original birth certificate. You can also use NCS if you do not wish to send originals.
